DISABLED SPORTS USA BREAKFAST

Please join the Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline for our breakfast meeting at 7 am on Thursday, April 3, 2014 to support the annual Military Winter Sports Camp for disabled veterans organized by Disabled Sports USA – Far West Chapter.  The disabled service men and women and their spouses who are participating in the Camp will be our guests in a meeting room at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, before they head out for their adaptive ski and snowboard instruction.  Breakfast for the veterans and spouses is provided by the Rotary Club.  The cost for all others is $20 for a full breakfast buffet including coffee and juice.

A portion of the proceeds will help offset the costs of the meal for the veterans and spouses.  If you would like to provide additional support for this event, please send your check to Rotary Club of Tahoe-Incline, PO Box 4990, Incline Village NV 89450.  Any funds received in excess of the breakfast costs for the veterans and spouses will be donated to Disabled Sports USA – Far West Chapter.

Disabled Sports USA is the nation’s largest nonprofit, multi-sport and multi-disability organization.  There are over 100 chapters of Disabled Sports serving more than 60,000 people nationwide.  The Far West Chapter is the founding chapter of the organization.  Its mission is to provide affordable inclusive physical and recreational activities that build health and confidence.
